Mind, Body and Spirit Fitness

It is important to focus on your mind and your body when it comes to your health but what about your spiritual fitness as well.  I have really been focused this past year on getting my body and mind where it needs to be to become a healthier person.   So yesterday I took the next step in my walk with Christ and got baptized.  This was a huge step for me because I have been holding back for so long, not because I’m not a follower of Christ but because I’m terrified of water.  Yesterday was different, God called me to do this, he called me to take this next step.  I was still scared but with the help of family and friends I was able to take this very important step in my life and become a better person spiritually.

Without the help of God I would not have accomplished all that I have with my fitness goals.  He is my #1 reason and motivation to keep going when I want to give up.   I want to live a healthier life… mind, body and spirit.

1 Timothy 4:7-9English Standard Version (ESV)

Have nothing to do with irreverent, silly myths. Rather train yourself for godliness; for while bodily training is of some value, godliness is of value in every way, as it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come. The saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance.
